How I Met Your Mother
I enjoyed reading this story, and have to compliment the author for doing a good job moving back and forth between scenes and characters showing us what is happenining without disrupting the action. The pacing was good as well as character development. The story features a butt-kicking heroine,Leah Hargreaves, who is also a mother of two married to Andrew Hargreaves, a horror writer. Andrew is on the way to pick up kids from school, while Leah is on the way home. Suddenly she is accosted on her own doorstep by someone who just wants more than her handbag. To avoid revealing much, I'll stop here and just say that Mark Cooper has a way with words that keeps you wanting to read on to see what happens next. I am looking forward to read the follow up 'First date: How I met your mother'.
